This thing is DEEP! Doing some more testing this week vs my SIM.  One of the best feeling drivers I’ve ever had.

To me it’s actually kind of a unique feeling. Like hitting a forged Mizuno iron but in a driver. Soft feeling but you definitely know where you’re hitting it across the face but man swinging 90% was still able to get it out there with the rusty Canada winter swing setting in.

Ordered directly through Titleist on the 13th of November, and had my driver drop shipped to my house. Showed up today. 

 

FWIW, I went nearly as stock as you could go. TSi3 9.0, smoke RDX, trimmed .5”, full cord grip, +2g weight. So I certainly didn’t get anything crazy exotic. 

 

Also got a wrench in the box, which based on what I’ve read, I did not expect.

Man I really like the RDX. I want to try the 6.5 70g - just waiting on my buddy’s to arrive so I can snag it off him

So perhaps I'm WAAAYYY late to the party on this but Titleist is now going DTC via their site? Kinda cool but kinda not depending on who you are in the commerce chain.

I just plugged in the specs on my order which is just a TSi3 driver with Ventus black 6S and the Titleist website says 15 business days lead time plus up to 40 business days lead time with that shaft. I will be contacting DD’s tomorrow to see if they can find out where I am in the queue. I know it is a pandemic and nobody’s fault, but I can’t wait 11 weeks for this.

Wow, that's a long time.  I ordered my TSI2 with a tensei AV raw white X through the local golf shop.  The ETA is 1st week of January.  I have a ventus blue 6x in my gamer right now so i'll probably just get an after market adapter so I can switch between the two.  

 

On another subject, I was weary during the testing with the tensei, but was really surprised at how well it performed.  It felt easier to launch/swing vs. the ventus so I figured i'd try it out.  May have to do with the TSI2 as well.  Seemed like the low launch shaft matches up well with the higher launch TSI2.

Compare:

 

1. Titleist order of t100s with project x shafts...today marks 5 weeks and still no word on shipping.  
 

2. Shaft order from Will Peoples on Sunday, had a shipping confirmation by 2:00 yesterday.  Ventus blue with Callaway left handed tip.  
 

So Will, who is a one man shop, carries enough stock of $300 shafts and wrong-handed driver tips to fulfill an order in half of a business day, but Titleist needs more than a month (and still to be determined amount of time) to ship what is effectively a stock order of irons.  
 

The golf industry really needs to get with the times.  We’re in an era where Amazon won’t stop until they can deliver anything you order same-day.  Even with Covid, there is just no reason for an order to take 6 weeks to your door (and that’s assuming they ship today).

I actually ordered 2 drivers both TSi3 9 degree with Smoke RDX 6.5 70 trimmed .25. I ordered the first one originally on 10/29 I was not getting any shipping update so I ordered another one on 11/9 from a different website. I have received both of them already. Granted my order was pretty stock but I went through 2 big box stores to order these and did not have any long waits or crazy ship times. Both came UPS.

I’m in the same boat. Ordered in middle of October and still waiting. Stock Tensei 75x. I guess my grip choice (z grip) is holding it up. Had I known I would’ve just picked something else.

I have heard others have delays due to grip which I think is kind of crazy that it is something so simple. But I guess the huge in flux of people golfing this year and probs people getting things re gripped may play a part.

It actually has taken me a little time to get used to the sound/feel coming from the TS3 and G400 Max.  They did an amazing job with sound and feel being closer to the carbon/titanium drivers in the market.  Looks wise it is hard to beat.  Looking forward to your results, congrats on being selected for the test group.

After a long wait the driver was finally delivered on the 24th.  Guess it was the Ventus that caused the delay.

 

Two full rounds with the TSI3 now and had a good range sesh yesterday with it where I tested out a bunch of different setting combos. Found a setting where I didn't miss a single shot left but we'll see how it ends up on course.

 

I was in a counterbalanced Mavrik SZ that I loved the feel of and was long with but had too many of the left misses with. The TSI3 is just as long and I feel like I can tell where I hit it on the face just a bit better. Misses don't feel as harsh or penal as well. I'M IN LOVE

DD's says mine should ship out tomorrow. Phew. Was starting to wind myself up a bit after seeing the "up to 40 business days of additional lead time" language on Titleist's website. I totally understand some additional delays during these times, but 40 business days on top of the stated 15 business days lead time is a bit much. At least now they are letting people know what to expect.

I bought a new TSi3 head last week from a great site called wrx bst and it arrived today. I'll try it with one of my one of my many Titleist shafts, and if they don't work, sounds like here or the bay will still be weeks faster than Titleist. It really is incredible.

My TSi2 driver arrived yesterday.  Ordered direct from Titleist on 11/10 - 10 degree head with an AD-DI 6s shaft playing at 45" (and they did use the red weight as I had hoped).  Don't know when I'll get to hit it, but a couple quick observations:

 

- It looks considerably bigger than my SIM max due to the elongated shape (but doesn't bother me)

- No wrench included

- Of all things I was actually surprised by how different the newer DI shafts look.  As you can see in my sig, that's my shaft of choice but it's the first one I've seen in person with the updated graphics.  Looks good.

 

Looking forward to getting in some swings with it, but given our current weather it's looking more and more like that will be occurring indoors.

Can you please share the anti left settings?  I can hook a putt.. so I'm always looking for the anti left recipe..thanks

I have it set at C1 and weight at the furthest on the toe side.

Want to go with a stock shaft but struggling to decide on which. Tensei has always felt really smooth...

 

Anyone hit the 5 wood yet? My T100S in the bag right now are 3-PW and they're LONG. Not sure if they're going to stay for long, but so far they've been great. Just need to fix my gapping issues.
