Unless it's a brief try-out of a new or different ball, I actually play with the same model ball consistently for months at a time. So my "top two" is always a "top one". If I find one I like better then it's a new "top one" and the old one isn't top any more.

I’m the same way. When the new balls get released I test anything that would fit me, then decide on a gamer for the season. Played Pro V1x Left Dash last season and it won out in testing again this year.

There was a topic here a while back asking what was the best driver you ever owned. I wondered why anyone would be playing one kind of driver if a different one they'd previously owned was better. I only switch when the new one is an improvement, maybe I'm weird that way. Same with golf balls.

How about Bridgestone B RX at .23/ball? Saw the deal here and loaded up. I played the RX and RSX on and off for years and am very happy to go back to them. Also have found good pricing and results on the Wilson Duo Professional.

.23/ball? I've never seen them anywhere near that cheap. Really you have to buy 5 dozen Vice balls to make it worth it, so I play the Tours most commonly at $17/box for 5

It was a flash deal from a post on WRX. The seller fulfilled through Amazon, and they were gone pretty quickly. I bought 12 dozen, at $5.99 per 3 dozen, $9.00 shipping per order regardless of number bought. They're apparently leftovers from an introduction of a new ball/year/model as they're in 2 ball sleeves. The packaging is immaterial to me, but the price sublime.

I have a sleeve of both, what is the difference you have noticed between the two, if any? Didnt know if the Pro would be worth the extra $9 per box for anything special.

I don't know how guys switch back and forth between balls ... I can get used to about any "decent" ball, but can't stand not knowing what the ball is going to do. I generally buy 10 dozen balls at the start of the year and I'm good for the season. And with the exception of a one year test with Srixon (so-so) and Snell (really inconsistent quality control, IMO) it's been Bridgestone Tour Bs (RX this season).
