I haven't hit a single shot in my last 20+ rounds that wasn't a Pro V1x. So my two most played ball models would be Pro V1x and Pro V1x.

P.S. I do have a sleeve or two apiece of AVX and Pro V1 in the bag that holds my travel set of clubs. So next time we go to the beach I'll use those just to get rid of them. And believe me, that course at the beach is mighty good at getting rid of golf balls. Either OB left/Water right or Water left/OB right, depending on the hole.

Maxfli Tour, with Tour B RXS for winter. The Maxfli tour has been unbelievable, second only to ProV1, and spins plenty so that  the small amount of less spin compared to ProV1 is not an issue at half the price point.

Not sure #2 but ProV1X Left Dash has been best ball I've ever used. I guess something similar to that if I can't find them - probably regular ProV1 is safest as the new X spins a little too much for me right now.

Pro V1 is a my go to standard, but the new CS X LS is a very interesting ball for my game.

How do these compare? Current ProV1 player, but during my Callaway driver fitting the fitter suggested I use the CS X LS. Might pick up a sleeve and try.

Left Dash and the 22' CSX LS. Similar enough that I can swap them out during a round. I use the LS when I want a lower flight. LD is so hard to beat and usually what I go with, when it matters.

The Pure Speed was ok but I really like the SD Tour and I got a couple dozen off eBay for cheap.

Currently in my bag:

Spalding SD Tour in white

Inesis Soft 500 in both matte white and matte orange

Honma D1 in gloss orange

I can say I play all 3 about the same. Since spring I've been playing mostly white unless I get paired. The Honma is still pretty new to me but so far so good. The others I've been playing a few dozen rounds on.

Unless it's a brief try-out of a new or different ball, I actually play with the same model ball consistently for months at a time. So my "top two" is always a "top one". If I find one I like better then it's a new "top one" and the old one isn't top any more.

Exactly with you. Most of my bag changes every year or two (or less), but keep the same ball and putter for a long time - removes a variable I have to think about. Played the ProV1x exclusively for years, changed to the Prov1 a couple years ago (mostly because the recent Prov1 plays a lot more like the Prov1x used to - weird, not sure why Titleist did that).

A lot of golfers have relationships with their balls (no, that is not nearly as weird and dirty as it sounds). You get to know exactly how they will behave when you want to draw or fade, and controlling backspin is huge. Identical swing going for a stop, hop and roll will produce very different behavior with different balls.

I do have a few friends that are indifferent. Ask them what they play, and they'll say "whatever was on sale on the used golf ball website", or "the one I just found in the rough on the last hole".

Personally though, of all the equipment in the bag, there may be nothing as important as the golf ball. Its the thing that's actually supposed to go in the hole.

I’ve made a commitment to high visibility yellow or green this year. Bought up several dozen of the Wilson Duo Pro balls and back them up with the Titleist TruFeel. I was going to play the Tour Speed but the difference in performance vs price just isn’t there.
