He blew it too I mentioned both, but Morikawa was throwing darts and had reasonable birdie putts on Sunday and missed almost everyone of them.  In fact I believe he missed two 4 footers for birdie, that is unacceptable.  Even if he just made those two routine Birdies that puts him at -4, which the make rate on those were 90+%.

Oh yea. We either have to pay for it , or if it is free , we need the same internet that they use to text Richard Branson on the moon to get it to stream.   It kills the mood. I used to enjoy getting up early and watching. Now - probably won’t watch until back 9 Sunday.

I believe early coverage being limited to a streaming service is the norm these days. I know it’s how I had to watch early coverage of last years PGA Championship @ Harding. If I’m not mistaken it was ESPN+.

The masters are the only ones who get it right.  A well working app that all can use.  You’d think THE open could afford to at least do as well ?

The Masters also doesn't demand top dollar for the broadcast rights.  Not saying it's right or wrong, but something has to give when huge rights fees are being paid out.

 

This is about the only time I can say us Canucks are at an advantage.  TSN is showing all of it.

He is 84 in the world though so he is in the C flight. Yeah I'd take him if he was 90 or worse in OWGR. I'm sure most of the pool would too.

So I'm in one of those pools where you pick 6 players each from a different word ranking group.  Pick on in the top 10, one from 11-21 etc.  

 

I got.

 

1.  Bruce Cupcake-Xander hasn't proved he can do it, and asNking Rahm to win 2 in a year is a bit of a stretch.  

2.  Matt Fitzpatrick-Taking a chance here, Rory is too inconsistent, Hovland hasn't really show what he can do in a major, everyone else in this tier seems to choke.  

3.  Spieth-He is due.  Plays good on links.  

4.  Fleetwood-He will win an Open someday.  

5.  Sergio-Tier 5 is where i have no good feeling about it.  Was thinking Poulter, or Rose as well.  

6.  Branden Grace.  Great links player.

They get money by having other's stream it. No digital infrastructure costs. They just collect checks.

 

If they did it on their own they'd have to farm out development, hire advertising sales people, purchase cameras and everything needed for them, tripods, cranes, scaffolding, and then they need a full-scale transmission truck along with a full production studio. Then there's the accounting/billing backend as well. It's a nightmare to do it on your own unless you're the Masters.

Yep. I’m sure.  It just sucks to be the guy who has to wait till 3pm when the networks pick it up.  I’m simply not paying twice to watch it.
