What Grips Do You Prefer?

I've used Golf Pride Mid Size Tour Wraps for several years, but recently switched to Lamkin. My new Hogan irons came with Z5 grips that I really like. I had a hard time finding Z5s for my woods as Lamkin has discontinued that style. I finally found some on Ebay. I've learned Lamkin has a new hybrid grip that is similar to the Z5. I'll be putting a mid sized one on my new driver soon. What's your favorite grip?

They're cheap and low tech, but I love the Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G. Simply wipe with a damp towel, dry and all the tackiness is back. I find that they're easier to clean and keep dry because there aren't all the indentations/crevasses in them. A bonus for me is that they come in white which while you think would get dirtier don't and they don't put marks on other things.

Winn Dri Tac Less Taper (LT) mid size is the only grip model I've found that combines mid size, less taper, and lightweight.

I used to be a die hard Lamkin Crossline Cord guy in standard size with one wrap. Then got around to trying Royal Grip Full Cords from the Golf Works with reduced taper and have taken a liking to them. That led me to try the Golf Pride ND MCC +4s in a few and I've taken a liking to those as well. So I guess my bottom line is anything with reduced taper, which is odd given I actually have pretty small hands.

I think the GP Z Grip Align in midsize is quickly becoming my favorite grip. It's a great full cord, has the rib that I love, and the midsize feels good. 

 

I've got MCC +4 Midsize non-align on my adjustable clubs, but having no taper on a midsize grip is almost starting to feel a little awkward and chunky (much like myself), I may swap those out for a non-align Z-Grip midsize.

 

And of course the pride and joy, the GP pro only cord green star is what I believe to be the perfect putter grip

I had Golf Price CP2 grips but them became slippery in the summer with 100% humidity in NOLA

Love them and will replace them with the same if I am able to.

 

I had an MCC Align grip on my driver and it was great until I changed the loft on it and had to replace it.  Only grip they had was the CP2, so that is on my driver.

May go back to the MCC Align grip in the driver.

My irons will be the Lamkin Sonar+ until they need to be replaced.

I am going on a year and they still are good to go

Really comfortable on the hands, and very grippy. They get even tackier in wet conditions, so no problems in the rain or heat/humidity. You don't even need to wear a glove with these grips. 

 

You can customize the grip with different colors, etc. and the company has great customer service. They are expensive (they are leather), but they last longer then traditional style golf grips, so the price averaged out over use/with wear makes them much more affordable then initial glance. 

 

I have this grip on my putter, driver, 3H and getting some put on my 52 and 58* wedges. Would love some on my irons as well, but that will be a splurge for another day (and maybe another set of irons).

I prefer the Winn Grip Dri Tac Midsize, but I burn through 3-4 sets a year so I gave up on them. Went to the GP MCC Mid Plus 4 with Align and I've never looked back. Super durable, last a long time and feel good in all playing conditions.

Loved the Z5's and am trying everything to stretch the life out of them on my irons. On everything else I have had to move on to the UTX. Now with my luck, Lamkin will discontinue those shortly too.

I was a GP MCC Plus 4 midsize for the longest time but have recently switched over to the GP Z Grip midsize.  Love them and they are great for this time of year in Texas.

I'm weird.  I'm all over the map.  I have Z-grip cord midsize on my woods (driver, 3w, 3h); standard NDMC +4 on irons; and a standard Tour Velvet Cord on my LW.  I feel like the larger grips help relax my hands on the longer clubs; the standard grips with +4 on the bottom hand feel best for irons; and the slim cord grip on the LW gives me all the feel I need for shotmaking without being as rough as the Z-grip cord.

 

I do prefer corded grips wherever I can get them.  My absolute favorite grip is Z-grip cord and maybe when I regrip my full set I'll use them and build them up to a +4.

I have small hands so I like Winn undersized (ladies) dri tac grips.  I use an air compressor to blow 0.580 grips on 0.600 shafts with no tape.  They are light.  35 grams.

I'm also getting on in years.  My clubs are light and flexible.

Switched this year to Grip Master Roo leather on all clubs including pistol putter grip. Never going back to rubber. Expensive initially but will last me years and years playing 40 rounds a year.

There are some really interesting replies on here. I've never heard of some of the choices. I'll have to do some research before I re-grip next year.
