Playing 10+ year old irons. WITB

If you are still playing 10+ year old irons, what are they?   

 

Been playing badly lately with new Honma TW 737V CB irons so I decided to bring out my old Bridgestone J33 CBs from 2007 I believe.   Playing the worst golf right now so I figure I got nothing to lose.  Instead of going forward, I am going backward and hopefully, the J33 CBs bring back some of the old good play.

Not me personally but some of the better players I play with are using I10 or R9 irons.  X14 are a classic.

I'm playing TW276 Golden Ram Tour Grinds, from 1992.  Also have played quite a bit with TW282 Golden Rams (also 1992), 1980 Golden Rams, and a set of MP37s, which are from 2005.

 

There are others working thru the bag, but these are the main players, and representative of the general age of the irons I'm playing.

Just put my old (but recently refreshed) Mizunos back in the bag. 11 years old now...

I am now playing Wishon 560mc’s and have amassed multiple sets

 

moved on from, at least for the moment, maxfli revolution black dots

 

still have TM 2011/ 2012 MC sets that I haven’t gained yet (guess I’m waiting for them to hit the 10 year mark)

I retired them at the beginning of 2019, but I had been playing Cleveland TA-3 Form Forged irons until that point (I played mine from 2001-2019).

I switched from 2 yr old irons to 12 yr old Miura retro blades last year and love love love them.

Playing a set of MP-57s that I picked up second hand maybe 7 or 8 years ago.  I haven't been able to justify a new set since I played sparingly for a stretch of time.  Just obtained some MP-32s thanks to a fellow WRXer and can't wait to work those into the bag next season.

I have used a set of Srixon i506 irons off and on for at least ten years. Right now I have some 765’s in the bag but I will never sell the i506’s.

I tried to replace the Ping G 5s almost every year and after I retired gave up and saved some money. The closest set that almost replaced them was Titleist AP710s graphite shafts ,which I have as a second set especially when too much golf makes my hands sore.

I just dropped my set of MP-33's back in my bag as well. Recently reshafted with a set of X100's, completely changed them. I did have a rather good fitting session with a set of MP-20 mb's though, might be the next contender.

Until earlier this year I was playing Titleist 755's from 2007. They're still a great club and I have a bunch of Jumbomax Str8 Tech grips to try out once I get around to fitting them. Could be a fun experiment.

I still have my Vega VDC-01 in my bag which have been in my bag since 2009.  I usually never keep irons for more than 5 years but I can't seem to find a set that I like or aren't ridiculously expensive(over 2 grand).  I might just refinish these or may look and test the new honma TR20 B irons.

Mizuno MP-60 (released 2008) that I got a while back 3-PW $110 shipped.  I will never be as good as these clubs.
