It's not crazy that -4 or -5 wins it. The leaders could shoot a couple over.

 

BTW Rickie Fowler has taken a lot of flack lately and got a special exemption like Phil right? --He is at even right now in T-13.

I don't know. Wind below 5mph until 2pm, and 12-13mph from 3pm until sunset.

 

-5 or -6 is possible for anyone at +1 going into tomorrow. This could get tight and Phil and BK will have pressure and heavy wind.

If you’d told me before the week that Phil would be leading going into Sunday and I’d somehow be disappointed, I’d have called you crazy.

 

He had everyone dead to rights even with the couple errant shots if he just drops the putts...man...Watching him run away and hide would have been so satisfying.

 

But - still all set for tomorrow.

Love Phil, but we all know it's shoot himself in the foot on the back nine time tomorrow. Koepka's knee(s) will act up and he'll fall back. Rickey, well it just takes one wild pull hook driver and it's all over. Young JS may start hot, but again like Rickey, the driver will be his downfall. Grace seems to be a little to erratic under pressure and tomorrow it will be even worse. So by systematic process of elimination, place your bets on Woodland.........

It's unlikely for sure. Much more likely it's someone like Koepka, i just think if it happened it wouldn't be something id consider all that surprising

I hope Phil does it...i dont think he will. If he does, what's greater tigers masters or phil pga champ ?? I'd go Phil this year..course is crazy hard. Odds..koepka..plus 150..Phil 3.5 to 1

The only hesitation I have with Phil winning is all the talk that Tiger can win 5 more majors since he is only 45.  If Brooks would have made any putts, this would all be over.

I'd say Tiger's return was bigger and more impressive.

 

Phils form has been impressive for 50, but this may not even be the last major he is in serious contention for.

The PGA website is one of the worst things I've ever seen associated with a big sporting event. It's pure jackassery right down to how they "seed" the leaderboard with my local PGA pro, who they want me to call, but who's 1.5 hours away, so they can't even get my location right.

A few years back my friends son was battling brain cancer and he got a wish through the Make-a-Wish foundation. He chose to go to the Masters. When Streelman heard this story he had the kid caddie for him in the Par 3 tournament and hosted the family. I know he’s not the most well known guy out there but I know I’ll always be pulling for him after that and hope he plays well tomorrow. 
(the son is also now doing well, health wise, and Streelman keeps in touch).

What a fantastic story.  There's something special about a guy who does something like that and doesn't seek publicity for it.  Rare these days.

 

Now I'm going to be rooting for him as well.
