Favorite vintage Titleist club?

Just was looking through my collection of clubs today and wanted to ask everyone what their favorite Titleist set was from back in the day?

DCI 962 was a great set. 
731 PM (never owned these, but as a lefty, always loved that there was set just for us). Always liked the look of them to boot.

my votes for favorite vintage Titleist clubs are 970 fairway wood and Titleist box blades. and for putters the 1/500 copper collection.

I loved the 906 fairways and 905 drivers. Those are “back in the day” for me.

I have a nice vintage collection of Titleist: 

 

Mid 80s Tour model persimmon woods, Tour model blades, 970 fairway with steel shafts or Fuji pro95, 975J 6.5* with speeder 757, 975F with Fuji Pro 95, 6 or so 200 series vokey wedges, 681T blades, The 97-2002 era of Titleist was incredible. 

 

5 dozen balatas, 6 dozen professionals, and a few random dozens from the 70s and 80s to rounds it out

910 drivers and of course the 905r.  

 

For irons, I still love the 695mb.

Used a ton of Titleists as a kid, always were my favorite clubs. 

 

My 962 and then 962B's were my favorite.  Almost nobody else in my Jr tournaments gamed them.

 

Second was the 975D with the stock shaft.  I used to kill that thing.

My 975LFE sits in the corner. Still take it out and yes it goes as well as my M3. Pity it is High COR. Also loved the original Oil Can Vokey wedges.

I had two LFE's. Doubt I could still hit them well at my advancing age, but they were definitely in the top 5 of best drivers I ever had. The conundrum was, the LFE was supposed to be fade enhancing. I've always been more or less a feder, but hit the LFE so straight. 

 

Another vintage Titleist that I still have, and actually do take out on occasion, is the 904f. My current 917f3 is just a slightly evolved 904.

I would go with the Forged 735.CMs. Still have them and play them as my travel set. I currently play a set of 2018 CB16s, will be hard to get me into another set because I love these clubs. Bought individuals on eBay and reshafted them myself.

DCI 990 irons - extremely underrated, the 962 always get more love but I'll firmly plant my flag in the 990 camp

975D driver - no real explanation needed, you either know or you don't

975d, 975LFE, 905r, 910d3 and the first Vokey Special Grind V wedges. Everything except the 975d is still out in the garage.

Designed by John Reuter Jr Bullseye putter.  At least 50 years old and most likely closer to 60.  It still has the original leather grip on it.  
 

It’s a bit of a stretch to call it a Titleist club because it was made before Titleist acquired Acushnet.  But it’s my favorite club in an all-Titleist bag.

962b were my first “real” set of irons.  Loved them!  Of course the 975d was one of my all time favorites drivers as was the 906f2 fairway.  Although, still wish I had my 915fd 3 wood.
