I have a few of the Slotline Spinner wedges - great bounce & relief features in a cast club

My first set of "fitted" irons (which meant a floor to wrist measurement and a question of how far I hit driver which translated to 1/2" overlength stiff shafts -- and I had to drive from Columbus over to Newark to get it done!).

Remember Lynx golf? I think couples played them briefly. They had perimeter weighted heads with some kind of rubber compound vibration dampening material decades before current manufacturers are claiming it's a break thru today. Iirc head was a nice "players shape" too

Remember they had some horrible "linear Dynamics" line, which was like a large "H" in relief on back of club rotated 90 degrees. Friend of mine bought the extreme version new, which had almost no sole .. . Just the face with that stupid H supporting it felt sorry for him for just wasting whatever he'd spend on them.

They're back and they're coming out with this monstrosity which is a driver you can switch the face on when you please.

I was a HUGE Lynx fan back in the day. And yep, Freddie played 'em. They even had a BOOM BOOM branded driver.

 

I still have my Black Cats - the ones you're talking about - in my closet that I got for Christmas sometime in the 90's. And the driver as well, which is still one of the best drivers I've ever hit.

 



 

Set it up after snapping these pics and man, it sets up so gorgeous.

 

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered getting these prettied up with some fancy new shafts and refurbished (I'd have to track down a replacement for the 6 as the polymer-whatever insert in the back has fallen out and I'd doubt there's a way to fix that) and throw 'em back in the bag.

Nice! You can probably just get some black silicone and fill in the missing area
