White Hot OG?!

Funny how things come full circle.  I put my OG 2 ball back in the bag a couple weeks ago, still as good as anything out there.

I hope they release these at the $150-ish price point, but the Stroke Lab shaft gives me pause that they'll be the same $250 that Odyssey has been releasing their new putters recently.

 

The "White Hot Rx 2.0" line that was released at Golf Galaxy/DSG a few months back had that slant-neck wide-body blade head that's pictured with the Japanese options. I would absolutely spend money on that thing with the original White Hot insert.

Have to believe these are going to be $199 minimum and agreed, wouldn't be surprised if $250 is the price point.

 

For me personally, the OG models were too like at 340g. A new white hot modern head weights is just what I've been waiting for.

My OG White Hot Pro (Pictured) is still as good as anything out and I have plenty of other Scotty's, etc, so cant wait for this new line! Great Move!!! 🤙

Love the name.  Tried my old White hot XG two ball blade earlier this season and couldn’t get the feel dialed in so back in the corner it went.  I’ll probably pass on these but love seeing the resurrection.

I agree.  $200-250 is too much when my actual “og” works just fine.  I like that white hot is back as an option though!

If you look closely, they are adding tech by taking weight out of the middle part of the club and redistributing that weight in the toe/heel for added forgiveness, just like Scotty's current line of mallet putters. So add that (along with the new tech shafts) with the old insert that some believe has yet to be surpassed in performance and we have this new line that should be well taken.

I'm guessing they do 350gm heads with the regular shaft and 360+ with the stroke lab shaft. I'm really excited about this one, pretty much exactly what I've been hoping they would come out with:

The Red weights from the O-Works line will interchange - they're the same diameter(and they'll look cool in this putter)

This release is fairly disappointing.  Hopefully the US release will be like 10 options and head shapes and hosel combos we havent seen...

As a B60 fan, I still have this. It's all OG (grip, cover) and looks new. It doesn't see the course much, but maybe next year it might.

There are a couple courses I play that are notorious for having greens on the slower side. A WHI works pretty well, keeping the same stroke on these greens as my MXM#7 on faster greens. Less of an adjustment than having to "just it the MXM harder".
