Just goes to show you that there different ways to win. Bryson has the power game and Cantlay was putting off the charts.

 

Happy to see Cantlay win. He's had some tough breaks in the past that I was unaware of until the commentators mentioned it. Will always vote for the underdog.

Bryson like Sergio that one time when he complained tiger was putting a club back in his bag and he heard it and caused him to hit a bad shot.  Big whiner.

They said Bryson asked him to stop walking when he was about to hit his approach.

I didn’t think Bryson was complaining. He asked Patrick to stop in a not very friendly way. But Bryson thought he hit a good hot.

maybe the announcers made it a bigger deal then it actually was because they said he "called him out". That does not sound very friendly to me

Great to see Cantlay win especially after his struggles with the putter earlier this year.

I dunno, he's a mile away from Reed for me. Def. not your Morikawa or Rahm but he has a different approach to this game. Part of the problem is that his approach is very hard to even comprehend for us mere mortals. I know that 95% of GolfWRX is also bombing it 350 down the fairway but still, for the other 5%, the game he plays is simply a different game than what we play.

 

I think situations like today where he just said "hey can you stop walking" get blown out of proportion because people already have question marks about him. 

 

IMO, the public is WAY too harsh on Bryson from an objective point of view. The guy literally has to deal with hecklers every round, getting called names, "Brooksy" and other stuff. I wanna see a lot of folks who criticize him in a similar position and see how they react.

He brings it all upon himself. He’s such a narcissistic tool like what he’s doing is Einstein esque. It’s just golf and he talks down to people. He’s just comes off as super unlikeable and aww shucks phony.

Lots of you guys sure hate him, he’s just a nerd that loves golf. He was awkward and kinda weird before he started hitting it far. Now it’s just amplified because he’s in the spotlight a lot more.
