Anyone able to find a pic of these next to the 210?

 

Specifically in the 3-5 irons. Would love to see how much they shrunk down the 230's compared to the 210's.

Yeah but the great thing with PING is you can order custom swingweight no problem. I always get them D2/D3.

Carl's Golfland has really complete shaft and grip options on their customization page.  Interesting to note that upcharge differs between Carl's and TGW (with Carl's on the better side) for some options (i.e., KBS Tour).

Does anyone else feel like Ping has crossed into crazy territory with their pricing?  The new clubs look great but at over $200 per club that's too expensive. Ping was always the great engineering company that produced terrific clubs (I have a full bag) at slightly less cost than the other brands, but lately they are at least as expensive as the others and look to be even more expensive.  What happened?  Was really excited about the i230 irons but guess I'll need to wait out the used market instead.

Unless I am wrong, I'm pretty sure it's about $188/per iron, which is normal. Any iron w/ a stock shaft will be just shy of $200. 

 

Edit - I stand corrected with the MSRP just over $200/ea. But, I don't know if that's the sticker price shops will sell it at.

Club looks nice in person. Personally, it feels like an iBlade to me. The i200 and 210 felt very similar to each other, this does not

how does headshape/length compare to iBlade?

I didn't notice this at first (and apologies if this was already mentioned in this thread) but it looks like the cavity in the long irons extend down a bit more into the lower muscle part. Hard to tell if that is extension of the badge or if the lower muscle part is just "inset" bit more. I wonder what long iron this starts at? Really considering ordering a set of these either way.

 

Edit - Looking back a bit more into the thread at some pictures of just the heads and I noticed this in the 5 iron but not the 6 iron. So, looks like that starts at the 5 iron.

It was reduced, albeit by 0.01", in the 3-4-5. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes and they have the standard S400 as a no-upcharge option!

 

I like these and am looking forward to seeing the numbers, seeing them in person, and checking out the feel.
