yeah that is basically it. He has all the game in the world, can make a ton of birdies in any given round, and then loses focus for a hole or two. Tons of top 10s!

Someone mentioned he's growing the mullet for a charity. Maybe one of those "locks of love" things where they donate human hair to make wigs for cancer patients/kids or something. Sounds like a good cause. Maybe he's letting it grow 'til after the FedEx Cup. Allison should cut hers off too.

I wonder how much of Rickie's "problem" has to do with his switch to the TM ball? Bubba left Titleist for a year, and had a bad year. When he came back to Titleist, he won. I wonder if Rickie will be back after this year?

This is what Rickie is. He has 5 tour wins in 10 years, he got a win in feb so a good year. Being out of the top 10 in owgr should motivate him alittle.But the expectations might exceed his talent

It is humorous these unattainable standards that people create for golfers that are then used to criticize them.

 

He is an elite golfer who travels the world with his beautiful girl making millions playing golf. I am sure he frequently sits alone in dark rooms saying 'where did I go wrong'.

He is over achieving. He doesn't have the greatest swing despite Harmon's expertise but his marketing is second to none.

He has excellent skills but does not perform to his ability many weekends. I root for him to win a major but I do not put him in the same class as Koepka, Johnson, Rory, or Jordan as far as consistency. He is making a great living on and off the course and has a knockout wife so I do not think there should be any concern about his well being.

Please define a great swing. He hits the ball 300 for a guy that’s 5’8” 150. His swing is his swing and it’s effective. He’s won 7 times between euro and pga tours, 1 Asian tour win and the hero. He’s finished in top 5 in all majors. If it wasn’t for his aggressive approach causing a couple bad holes on the weekend he probably has another 3-5 wins.

LOL! ..Most of these Goofballs will never understand that these guys are playing a game for a living where the byproduct is millions of dollars, jumping on private jets, shopping sprees, beautiful women, living in mansions...…..Somehow I think Rickie, Rick or Richard will be just fine.....LOL!

Its fairly simple. From a golfing perspective he isn't quite top tier.

From a life perspective he's the best there is.

I am a big fan. I followed him for the entire round on the Sunday at Birkdale a couple of years ago, he can play golf can young Mr fowler
