Are there certain brands on certain clubs you won't ever leave?

That to me is Cleveland wedges. That was my first adult set of wedges (dads old clubs) and they always treated me really well.

 

I struggle with the putter, but I was at my best putting back when I had an odyssey mallet. Recently just went back to odyssey with the Rossie S and have no plans of it leaving the bag.

Nope I am just a good ole golf club ho I have not found any particular brand or club that provides any magic deserving of my loyalty. I just keep on chasing the dream for those magic sticks, it is a fun part of the hobby for me.

i used to think i would never stop using mizuno irons, im into my 2nd set now, but i guess im open to options now after knowing more about pxg

 

i dont see myself playing with anything else but nike shoes tho 😅

Yup. I’ve found I play best with Ping irons, (3 of my last four sets have been Ping) and my putting is far better with a Scotty averaging 28/29 putts per round. Whenever I try anything else my average putts shoot up to 33-35 a round. 
 

Other than that, the remaining slots in my bag are up for grabs with any brand whenever I change. Except for callaway, which I can’t hit and have proven even in blind testing I cannot hit a callaway club. It’s a me issue.

Probably Vokey, I just don’t think the others look as good and have as many options. But I am curious to try the TM Tiger wedges.

 

Otherwise I would be happy to play whatever works and looks best for the rest.

I've really gotten to like the Callaway Jaws line of wedges. My last few replacements have maintained that brand.

Doesn't matter will use whatever works best for me but I have a feeling Ping woods will work well for me over others based on my last fitting. But next time if anything else works better that will go in.

why not Callaway wedges since Roger Cleveland’s been designing their wedges for over a decade?  
 

to answer your question tho, I’ve been sticking with callaway fairways and wedges but have used multiple brands for other clubs.

Been swinging Mizuno Irons for about 10yrs. Ping fairway woods. Driver and wedges have swayed around a little. But now all ping woods Mizuno right to the putter

I have the putter I got for my 18th birthday in '89, but it isn't currently in my bag. By the end of the year I will have an almost entirely Haywood bag, but see how long that lasts. 🤣

There's some brands that i am loyal to with woods , for example i will always defer to Callaway and Ping --It's something about the head shapes that is very appealing to me

 

But in general i have zero loyalty. If something works better or i like better--I'm gonna go with it

I've had drivers by Callaway, Ping, Taylormade, Cleveland, Bridgestone, Cobra, Titleist, Nicklaus, Mizuno over the past 20 years and currently bag a PXG.

The reason I'm a golfer is because of my father, and I have a lot of fond memories of him excitedly getting the new Callaway Big Bertha... and then the Great Big Bertha... and then the Biggest Big Bertha... and so on. He's always loved Callaway clubs and for that reason alone, there will always be a place in my bag for a Callaway club.

TM drivers for the head shape.  Mizuno irons.  If Adams were still around I would probably still be playing them. Love those CMB’s.  3 wood and hybrid I’m not picky about. I’m picky about wedge shape, not brand.

I'm a PING guy. Have mixed in others along the way but always go back to a full PING bag.

They're fun to break out for the occasional round, but my gamers and my first love are the forged CB's.  I just reshafted my MP 30's with DG AMT X100, so maybe the lighter weight in the long irons will help me get the TM 200 4 and 5 irons out of my main bag.  And the Titleist fairways are actually in the main bag at the moment.  I actually like them better than the newer stuff, I do believe.

I have a few OEM’s that I turn to initially by club type but they are simply a starting point. If I find something outside of those, I am open to new ones. If I didn’t, I would never have tried PXG in the first place.
