Bryson and Tucker, his caddy, are splitsville.

Caddie-pro relationship, can't speak to it, but breakups in general have an element of sadness for both parties given a once valued union did not or could not survive. If one wishes to troll it by offering one thing on its face but actually intend another in effect, one would be displaying the bigness of one's littleness. Thus I would suggest to those that might consider trolling a broken relationship: if you know a better place, please go.

Guys he was on the bag in the practice rounds. Something fairly big had to occur in the last day.

Can you imagine dealing with BD every day all day?!

This guy must have mumbled,

omg would you please just sthu!

Like at least 54,000,001 times 🤣

Got paid though, good for him ; )

Tim Tucker told me in 2018 when he started working with him again that he was a nightmare to work for. However, some guys can put up with that because they’ll make tons of cash

That isn’t really the big issue here though, it’s the fact on a Wednesday night he quits him. Any player in the top 10 in the world would generate this story if their caddie left them

Of course. Anyone who thinks this isn't real golf news has an agenda.

If there's a caddy out there that could persuade Bryson to stop acting like a clown, Bryson might win 10 tournaments a year and at least 1 major every year for the next decade.

looks like Phil has been playing some practice rounds with BDC, I think its his way of lobbying Captain Stricker to say "see...I can pair up with him"

So… what if the caddy did something that could harm BDC’s brand/rep, BDC fired him and to make it a lesser deal it became a mutual decision?

Entirely possible… BDC has a brand worth protecting and the caddy might be less employable if it all got out.. plus BDC is the brand.  Caddy is expendable.

I mean, nothing on the tour has ever ever been covered up - ever! - **cough** Tiger.. **double cough** DJ’s “injuries”

That kind of thing goes wayyyy back…

Since it’s all speculation anyway - just sayin’

(A) Good Lord, they are employer and employee, not in an intimate relationship. (B) Unless there's something we don't know about?

(A) Most, if not all, relationships experience some form of intimacy even if the experience and expression of such varies given the nature of the relationship. The point of a relationship if there is not an implicit commitment to concern oneself for and with the good of the other and a commitment to manifest those behaviors that promote such? That which is reserved for one, but not another?

One or both loses a desire to maintain the relationship for whatever reason facilitates loss and repeated enough times can influence how one experiences hope. Think of, if you will, a psychological contract. In it well-being is better assured when parties abide by it, but it is only generative if both are committed to it and find value in the commitment.

Ever lose a job? Ever have an employee to disappoint that the relationship had to be severed? Ever had to let one go for reasons beyond the control of either or had to go despite all attempts to stay? Loss and pain and a hope betrayed, but if not, a hope unfulfilled. Get along in this world without hope or constantly, repeatedly experience it being frustrated. It can penetrate the soul and have impacts that attenuate the quality of one's life.

(B) I have no knowledge of such nor have any concerns if it may be as seemingly implied, even if likely only half-heartedly. All people need to love and be loved and I am happy to let folks decide how that is experienced. If we all wanted the same thing we would all want each other's significant other, which, goodness, would likely and importantly, seriously mess up a good foursome. Ain't no one gonna help find an errant ProV1, either.

Any chance you could get that gig ? H*ll there are probably WRX'ers on here who would start a slush fund for you just to get some Bryson insite.... err,  I mean dirt.

Lol I know most names out on the big tour so I’m interested to see who exactly gets that bag.

For now I’m happy with my pro

With it going down mid-week I have to wonder if it is something as petty as the 8-iron fiasco.

Quite possibly. If Tucker had been planning the departure it seems he would have left right after an event not right in the middle of the week. I think it was a case of something being said or done Wednesday that was the breaking point for Tucker. It will come out. Nothing stays private anymore and one or more of the caddies in Detroit know what happened and it will come out.

I agree.  His caddie likely got tired of trusting  , and then being intellectually betrayed time and again.

Bryson strikes me as the guy who’d play your friend one minute and then raise hell that you had got his coffee order  wrong the next.  When you stay in a relationship that has elements like that , it’s akin to self harm in a way.  Glad Tim got out if that’s the case.
