How many majors will Dechambeau win?

EDITED MY OP!

After reading about his plans to go to a 48 shaft driver I have completely changed my mind. I think he will win no less than 14. I speak from personal experience of someone who has used a 48 Shaft and gained 30yards+ minimum. And thats without custom expertise that Dechamp will be getting. I can see him driving 360 - 380 yards and overpowering every known course.  He will dominate for years to come. No amount of crying by the likes of Rory can stop him.

His driving is on fire his putting is getting better and better.

He will win more majors than the likes of Rory, Koepka, JT , DJ....I cant see a single player on tour who will win more than him. Not a single one!!

I am going for 8  majors

He def will win more than Rory, Koepka etc

Nothing is assured, but I certainly like his approach towards improving. The excessive weight gaining thing is possibly overkill, and dangerous?

Two.  He'll be injured soon.

Not sure this is true? I’d guess heart attack unless he loses some of that weight?

Otherwise, his approach is quite solid and makes sense and obviously entertaining.

Please someone explain this talk about injury. This is one of those annoying  internet rumours that have zero substance. What about this swing will lead to injury.

I think of one glaring name/example? David Duval.

I think most suspect Brooks as having perhaps some weight training injuries now?

Swinging all out like a long drive champ is NOT for the long term. Bryson has done the math there too. Trying to do this in short order, I'm sure.

I can't see it lasting. Too much body strain with the mechanics of that SP swing and what he's doing with it distance-wise. It requires the "mass" just to have a chance to survive it. We're witnessing the "final transformation" of golfers into NFL Linebacker size and the ballistics race this has become. The Woodlands, Rahms, etc. That is the size/body type getting to the top more and more as they set up the courses for those players.

And the career spans of these players will be more like that of a linebacker than Nicklaus. And they know that too. Records safe.

That is the lazy response. Tell us why he will get hurt?

As far as the question I suspect he will get a couple Master's. I would say 4 total majors.

My opinion.  You are entitled to yours.

By the way, diabetes runs in his family.  He should be careful

David Duval had a host of health problems, not related to weight training.  He lost a bunch of weight when he embarked on his hyper fitness phase.  BK tore his patellar tendon and finished it off slipping on a cart path.  Not weight training.  BAD got a lot bigger, working with a personal trainer, nutritionist, and swing coach to build his body and swing.  He has bigger muscles, tendons, ligaments, which will possibly make him less prone to injury.
