Don't mean to burst the bubble here but everyone should know that you can use TaylorMade .335 adapters in their adjustable hybrids and achieve the same result.  Been doing it for years.  Recommend using their 19* you can achieve lofts of 16* to 21* with their 2* adapter sleeves.

I got the email confirmation right after I placed the order. I will email/contact them to follow up. This was a pure fancy so if the order doesn't go through I wouldn't be too upset.

PGASS emailed me the shipping notification the day it was out for delivery. 😂. I’d already gotten a shipping notice from UPS.

I note that the screw-weight in the bottom of my 17* is marked "7." If you want to hit a ball a bit higher, what would you change that to... or, actually, would it even affect launch angle since the weight is center-bottom? Where could you buy these weights? If I got any extra weights with the club, I didn't find them.

In lieu of that, I guess you could add lead tape under the back of the sole?

The 7 means 7 grams. The clubs dont come with extra weights. I believe you can use any Callaway 'round' weight from the Rogue line on up.

Making it heavier - technically - will increase launch. It will also increase swing weight and make the club feel heavier and the shaft feel softer which is all adding to increasing launch.

As a diehard TM fan and someone who genuinely dislikes Callaway (simply bc its not Tayloramde), I gotta say Callaway hit a home run with this club

I have not got these outside on course in this fall/winter Chicago weather but the 4 range sessions have been incredible. Very easy to hit, plenty forgiving, and they go a long long way. The 17 isn't super low spin, it's very playable, but the ball speeds are crazy

I know for sure im gonna be selling my PXG 2h but the TM 300 mini is where it gets complicated. Love that club for tee shots and its an easy fairway finder. If I play the 17 UW then I would drop the 300 mini since the 17 goes so far and would be a big gap between that and my 4i. Versatility wise I should play the 17 and 21 UW as it gives me a good tee club and 2 super easy to hit options. The 21 is 15 yards longer than my 4i but has plenty of spin. Last sessions the 21 was spinning around 5000rpm

I think the UW sits very neutral. The 2 negatives I have, which are user dependent, are I dont like the gloss finish and I wish they had an alignment aid on the crown. Other than that I have 0 complaints about actual performance

I have now until March really to figure out what I want to do. Even tho I passed up on a 19* option already I think the sweet spot for me would be to keep the mini driver in play and game a 19*

I would agree on the length in relation to my 4i - about 15 yards longer but it is also spinning a good amount, I wasn't going about 5000 but certainly in the 4000's and high 3000's on lower flighted shots.  These things are getting the distance from pure speed, they aren't achieving big distance from ultra low spin.

I really liked the 21 with atmos 8X so I odered 17 with stock RDX hoping I can replace my 3w/3h setup.

but FOR ME, 17 was not easy to hit/launch as 21.

and gapping is not ideal for me with 17/21 UW.

so going back to my old set up.

just wanted to report my case.

I have AD IZs in mine and while the launch is solid, I need more spin.  That's just a problem I have with fairway woods and hybrids in general though.

Hmmm, I tend to share that problem.

I’m looking to replace the 5w with a 19* UW.  I may just to Ventus Blue, which I get along with well, but that would be a pricey experiment haha.

I ordered a few days after you.  I eventually called them and they said the order was never transmitted to Callaway.  I cancelled it as I got a deal on one with a RDX80 S.   For me it was no big deal, because I wasn't necessarily sold on the Trono shaft which I've never hit.  I've hit both the stock RDX 70 6.0 and RDX80 6.5 and I'm pretty sure the RDX80 6.0 will work well for me.

PGAtourSS has been bad with communication.  They kept telling me they'd get back to me via email and never did.  They haven't even confirmed the cancellation.   I wonder if there was an issue with the shaft being available, since its not available anymore through Callaway.  I'm sure if you hold out you will eventually get it, but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

Anyone have a UW with Ventus shaft built buy Callaway?  Are they tipping them at all (without specific request)?  I may swap a Ventus 7s, and I was just curious how they are building them.

Really enjoying mine. Another range session today comparing it to my Ping G425 5 wood again. I swear the UW goes the same distance and dare I say is more forgiving?  Not sure how that’s possible but even poor strikes want to go long and straight.

I may pull the 5 wood out this week and put it up for sale with the matching 3 wood.

Yep, they’re tipping them all 1.5”. I have a Ventus Blue 8S built by them. Thinking about trying a Red 7S though.

Hit them both today. Super Hybrid has a taller face and slightly shorter shaft. Both felt good, I think the UW is a better club, easier to launch, better through the turf.

Neither earned a spot in my bag, but I am sure they will sell a ton. The UW seemed like a fair bit more innovation and the superhybrid felt like an older 3 wood on a hybrid shaft. I prefer a regular 3 hybrid to 5w for gapping, but if I had to replace the hybrid it would be UW all day.

Didnt have high hopes after some failed experiments trying to replace my Apex hybrid with some driving irons and 7 woods and a couple other hybrid models, but the 21 *UW is going in the bag. I like the added launch over to 20* apex. Actually carries a touch further. I mostly hit this into greens so the added spin and height is a great benefit. I was worried about versatility, but so far I've had no problem hitting this from bad lies or flighting it down, and it's actually much better off the tee without the fear of going left. The Trono is awesome. Thought the 75 might be light, but if you are smooth it is smooth with you.

I ended up getting the 19 deg UW with 75x trono but I am tempted to pull the trono and put it on my TSi2 7 wood. My concern is the weight of the trono for the 7 wood. I play a Tensei white raw av 65x in my driver and Tensei white raw av 75x in my 4 wood. Does it necessarily have to be 10g gap as we progress down the bag? I am hoping this could work! Might have a 19 degree UW head brand new if anyone wants it!

I would double check with Callaway because the person I buy from their rep stated they trim the 17* and 19* 1.75" and the 21* is being trimmed 2".  For comparison he even added the Epic Speed fairway trimming 0.5" for 3+, 3, and 4; 1" for 5; and 1.5" for 7.

Saw one today...first thing I noticed was how much they reminded me of the old Adams Speedline Classic hyb/fwy tour issue model that they only made up to 20 degrees. I think the lowest they made was a 14 deg and there was a 17 deg.  The Callaway is a good looking club for sure.Hoping they are easier to hit then the old Adams!
