I just had an iron fitting and it came down to the i210s vs. a zx5/zx7 combo set. Got similar numbers from both heads and the Srixons felt really nice, but I went with the i210 because I liked the look of the long irons better than the Srixons.

They just showed his bag for a minute on tv and his irons surely looked like the I59 and not the Blueprints.

Also, I’m wondering how the i59’s would compare to the new Mizuno irons (assuming the i59’s will be similar to the i200’s and i210’s), if they’ll be closer to the JPX 921 Tour or Forged, or possibly the MP-20 MMC’s. I have the i200’s in the bag and before that I played Mizuno MP-32’s — which I will never get rid of.

Considered how early we usually See „tour irons“ from PING on tour, I would guess february Is pretty much of the table

It's gonna be later this year and might possibly be next year. They will be iBlade replacements, so probably forged body and/or face with some sort of elastomer insert.

Noticed that some online shops have deleted the "custom options" pages for the i210. E.g. TGW who have also taken iBlade completely offline.
Curious wether PING will drink the forged Kool-Aid with iBlade replacement after their success with the forged Blueprint. Still hoping for i210 replacement in late 2020 as I am going to get fit for driver in summer and irons in fall

They have probably removed the custom options due to the huge backlog of orders, PING is focused on the 425 release now, and has issues with component availability similar to all the manufacturers.  I believe the 210s are an 8-12 week wait.

They are as hot as they have ever been. If I was PING I‘d also stay away from replacing them

Ordered my Ping i210's a few weeks back. 10 week delivery date.

I ordered my i210 irons 4-U mid-end of Nov. Just received update that they are scheduled to arrive mid-Feb, but was told that delays have been occurring.

The manager at the store also told me their rep advised them to prepare for new i210 orders being discontinued.

Thats harsh. Wonder how much Is covid Problems and how much Is demand

Hopefully we hear something fairly soon.  Based on shipping times we can then order for next summer.

I didn't wait for the new irons. I ordered I Blades 12/11/20, got them today. Almost nine weeks. I feel lucky, I don't know what's going happen when people try to order irons  late March or early April. They may get their irons by the 4th of July.

Crazy to see this, same boat here. At least there's consistency. Got fitted on 12/11, and after a bad season of iron play in 2020, I told the fitter I didn't care if I got fit for a new model or outgoing model, and I don't care what brand or price. I just need the best irons for me. Ended up with the iBlades. Ordered them that day and I finally just heard from the fitter yesterday that they'll be in on Monday.

When that happens it's because PING is selling through what stock they have left. The same thing happened with the i200 a couple of years ago. They stopped taking custom orders and then one day it was no more orders period because of the i210.

Thats what I am hoping for. Stock Is Running low and they dont make any new heads because of i59/i225 or whatever the next one will be called. Driver, 3 wood and putter are first for replacement in may bag so I don’t care if they come out at the end of 2021 as long as they don’t make us wait until 2022 lol

I heard no i500 replacement, so gotta be iBlade or i210, right?  No irons in 2021 other than G series? Say it ain't so...

 

Weak... I'll keep firing what I got then.  I'm pretty much the only person on the planet that can't hit i210s...  S55?  Money bags.   10s? Yup...count it.  Hit the S way better though.  I500?  Artificially two clubs longer but money.  

 

All tried with same shafts too... never actually tried the iBlade tbh.  

 

Although I got ALL the 425's coming...they better hurry up.  Just ordering heads...move move!

Heard this as well. I don’t work in the golf business but I do work with freight forwarders and if you Google the backlog in Long Beach and Oakland you will see why anything from Asia is weeks or months behind.
