I think it looks good. yeah there's bit of blue on top, but it's not a full blue crown like Nike did, so it's fine. 

 

I'm really looking forward to hearing more about them.

Good question, a lot of that is the shallower face depth which will naturally encourage higher strikes, or rather, fewer "low" strikes relative to the center. The M5 also still has relatively medium MOI which combined with the face depth helps encourage gear effect related spin reduction. It's design tweaks like that that can help manipulate launch conditions in addition to your standard vertical CG movement.

They all look draw biased, or maybe the SIM2 is neutral and the Max and Max D are draw biased. The front weight progresses closer toward the heel through the line. Also the front weight on the SIM Max looks moveable, it appears as though there is a small track to make it even more draw biased?

I actually like what they did design wise. The carbon sole combined with the large weight in the back makes it seem there could be actual improvements. I'm interested to see the head shape and if the face is ant deeper. All that said, aesthetically it is a train wreck.

Can anyone elaborate on the customization part?  Maybe you can change the accent color (i.e., the color pictured as Volt green)?  Also, if there some sort of fin on the toe?!?!  Makes complete sense to do that from an aerodynamics standpoint as that is where the most "drag" would be.  

 

I'm excited for these because I have a ton of respect for Johnny Wunder.  He loves to try new stuff but is very immune to hype. Thus, if he's excited; I'm excited. 

 

Just with the color would have been purple; the most underused color in golf!  😞

My only concern is with the carbon sole there might be even more cracking issues. The the carbon on top of on my M5 last year cracked. I got a replacement and 6 months later same thing happened. I had one buddy do the same with his SIM this year and a couple people I know have also complained of the same issues. With even more carbon in the sole I just hope they address some of these issues because the amount of actual metal or lack thereof on the SIM 2 is kind of scary.

If those pictures are the actual thing, I'm in. I gamed the Nike Vaporfly driver for about a year and half, but switched to M1 '17 440 shortly thereafter. I'm pumped and my wallets ready.

Saw a pic on Instagram. Type in the search #taylormadesim2 and there's a picture of the 3 drivers. Personally, not a fan. I'm either hopping to Ping and the G425 or keeping my SIM for 2021.

Looks are subjective, and unless they brought back Nike’s Sumo cube I doubt their sales are going to take a plunge for a dash of color. That said, I enjoy the looks, but curious why it seems that every weight is heel side, just varying degrees.

 

Also, I want to stake an early claim that I bet this driver will have the most enjoyable sound of any driver ever made with all that carbon. All these people hating on the looks will quickly get over the blue in favor of that beautiful muted crack. I love my 410 LST and am leaning toward the 425 LST as a replacement, but I can’t say I haven’t made googly eyes at the SIM a few times this season. So we will see I guess.

if these are real then it looks like Taylormade have mixed their Sim with Nike's Vapor Fly, interesting. I've got a gut feeling these could be red herrings. I guess we'll have to wait till after Christmas.  however look nice colors talk about making a statement on the course lol 🙂

I hit the SIM against the TSi3 and was consistently 10 yards longer with the TSi. Guess which one ended up in the bag.
