Have probably played with at least 50 WRX'ers from all over the states. With the exception of 1 individual, I'd play with anyone again, just quality people. Think I'd like to play with Sammie who despite incredible personal challenges, has developed a helluva game and is an amazing person.

Don't want to omit anyone that I'm not thinking of, but all the usual suspects in the Grille (several in the list above).  Would have to add @BIG STU.  And his crew.  Wouldn't even have to golf, just hang around watching the action.   @Reasonability and I have a standing cart date.  @oldschoolrocker, who no longer posts, but alway felt a certain sympatico with him.

You're one of the best guys to play 54 holes with in less than 24 hours, look at Bubbles, drink shots of untold beverages and not have you remember where you were for hours at a time. Hope we get to do that again soon!

There's no friggin way that I'd wanna put that list up cuz there are so many guys, easily, 12-15+ that I can think of right off of the top, though we could make a foursome with two super guys that are within a state of ya, however whatever group that I'm in, wherever that group might be, I want you as the wheelman in our cart.
 

I was a shaky driver before the stroke, as Pete and Sam refused to ride shotgun with me after I dumped Sam's clubs in the creek at the club when I jumped outa the cart on a side hill, ball below me lie, forgot to put the brake down and the son of a b*tch got away from me😂😂. Maddie said that I can drive the cart when I get my license back so it'll be at least summer time before I'm ready to take the test, lol.

Although I already mentioned @Obee was thinking of his 100 yard challenge thread this afternoon and got to thinking of some pretty good journey threads in instruction -- @Schnee (always been a favorite since he first got on the plane to Cali), @QMany, @Hstead, good examples.  Probably just get a chair and watch them focus and work on the range.  I can think of some rules guys that would likely be a blast and a couple others to throw in just to watch them argue over the rules about which fork for the salad and which direction to pass the food. @davep043 would keep them in line, @ThinkingPluswould make sure they don't kneel before the USGA!  I know @tiderider shares a love for all things Scotland.  Okay I'm done, too many flying around in my head to keep things straight on a Friday.  A  Dahlwinnie is on the way!

That said it would be good to play with some of the other Canadian guys. We could organize a field day.

 

@MtlJeff I don't think you've ever mentioned it specifically but I believe our clubs have a reciprocal. I'm at Rideauview. Assuming things get back to normal this summer we should definitely get together for a round.

Yeah let's do it this year. I have a couple of friends i've talked to about getting out to Ottawa already anyway. We have reciprocals with you, Camelot and Rivermead i believe at last check. So maybe we could do a round at Rideauview, and if you want to come to Whitlock i could hook that up too. Maybe like me and a friend and then vice versa. home and home

Before I play with any wrxr, I just want to say that I don’t normally play this bad, I am just getting used to some new irons and my coach has me working on some new things. Oh and I kind of tweaked my back. I am normally much better at golf.

Sounds fantastic, we’ve all been out here for, jeez, many years. I think I’d even consider you guys “friends” really. I mean, I still have my old dear friends I go way back with but you guys are as cool as anybody I’ve met otherwise!  
 

We 4 have the same positive enthusiasm about things and like to laugh easily. These are great qualities and I hope we can all keep them as the years go on.

 

Who knows, maybe someday we can meet up for a round and some big steaks ; )
